Peanut butter is my favorite food. I apply it to my whole-wheat toast before I go to work. Breakfast done. I apply it to my apple as a light snack. Snack done. I apply it to my chicken before I chuck it into a tortilla wrap. Lunch done. I put some on my salad at the end of my day. Dinner done.
Since peanut butter is pretty versatile, I would seriously advise anybody who is reading this article right now to invest in a bottle of peanut butter as part of your diet. But, the big question is why peanut butter?
Peanut butter boosts testosterone, a hormone that is crucially needed to build muscle which melts your fat away. It also provides you with protein and monounsaturated fat together with niacin, vitamin E and magnesium(another powerful component needed to build your abs!)
You must be thinking,? Wow, since peanut butter is that wonderful, maybe I should eat like half a bottle everday. Or, I could just scoop up a huge spoon of Skippy as a snack.?
Sorry. You got your ideas wrong. Peanut butter is quite high in calories and you cannot eat as much as half a bottle. The best bet is to go for about 3 tablespoons a day and to avoid Skippy. Choose plain peanut butter (not those mass-produced sugary like Skippy!) for the best results for your belly.
Another warning is that although peanut butter has its advantages, you had better beware of trans fat that may be present in some of the local brands. Trans fats are the worst kind of fat your body will want to possess. This is because Trans fat increases the amount of bad cholesterol in your body which may lead to higher risk of heart disease, diabetes and a much poorer immune system. Why bother committing suicide? Beware of foods that contain trans fat!
